SYNOPSIS from Goodreads
A copy of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl.
Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to Comic Relief, which means that the pounds and Galleons you exchange for it will do magic beyond the powers of any wizard. If you feel that this is insufficient reason to part with your money, I can only hope that passing wizards feel more charitable if they see you being attacked by a Manticore.
– Albus Dumbledore
COMPETITION: Taken from the Movellas website:
Write a fanfiction story on either of the categories below but we also want to leave the option for you all to be creative if you prefer designing covers or fanart.
1. Write a Harry Potter fanfiction that takes place in the past…
Since Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them takes place in the distant past with Newt Scramander, we thought it only fitting that you all write a story that takes place in the magical past. Whether it’s with James Potter and the Marauders, or Godric Gryffindor himself.
2. Write a story about the interaction between a Muggle and a Wizard.
A great example would be when Newt loses his case, and then a muggle just happens to stumble upon it. Write about an interaction (and maybe an adventure?) between a wizard and a muggle.
3. Design an alternate cover to the movie or book and/or create your own Harry Potter fanart.
We know many of you like fanfiction but prefer to stick to designing when it comes to this epic fandom. Well, we encourage you all to create fanart on your favorite Harry Potter character or scene and/or design covers that you think would better suit the book or film 🙂
Winners will have their fanfics and covers/art promoted on Movellas’ social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, etc.) And for this competition, you can choose between Harry Potter prizes or Amazon giftcards:
Multiple entries allowed (limit – 3)
